La qoVop, "quand on Veut on peut". (where there is a Will there is a way)

In accordance with the french associations’ law of 1901 the qovop was brought into being on the 6th of march 2007 in the local district offices of fontenay-le-comte. The qovop has the central objective of promoting world culture and the global environment.
Its message is simple: where there is a will there is a way

Some people will say that our project reveals a certain naivety, others will say that our objectives reflect superficial believes. However we have a simple but important message for everyone: nothing is impossible if you just make the effort!

You want to tour the world by boat, yet you are a student with no money or boat and no experience at all in navigation? Hang on in there and you will make it!
This is the motto of the association!

At the centre of our project is a two-fold challenge, one sporting, the other, environmental: If you really want to stop global ecological destruction, you can.

What use is it to agree with Nicloas Hulot when he speaks of the threat to the planet and the failure of America to adhere to Kyoto and at the same time, travel to your local shop, which is just 600 metres away, in your 4X4?
You must understand that there is a lot that you can do to help, short of becoming an environmental activist.
Through its project, which many may think slightly crazy, qovop wants to demonstrate that nothing is impossible, you just have to really want it to happen.

Association History

Founded in the year 2007, le 6th of march to be precise, qovop stems from the work of two naïve, meandering spirits.

Manuel Lize (president) and Baptiste Berthelot (vice-president, treasurer) founded the association in order to promote environmental and cultural goals. That is, their world boat tour will allow them to make a film and a photo documentary focusing on the state of the sea, the environment and the impact of recent ecological upheavals on the men and women whose daily work brings them into contact with the sea.

The two founders of the association are in their final year at university. They are both about to complete a Masters in business Management (and administration) at the IUP???

Currently the young association is preparing the world tour which is not only a great journey but also a significant sporting challenge for these two novices of maritime navigation!
